Howling to the Moon (1988)

In this stage production, James Duthie borrowed themes of conflict from the The Troubles in Ireland and planted these within the framing of the North East of Scotland. It looks at the impact of war and how its legacy can affect families and those connected with it. By his own admission, this production was more violent in nature than his previous work, looking at man’s capacity for aggression, and seeing it more a story about morals than politics.
