JB McDonald documented times of both celebration and mourning in relation to the Fraserburgh Lifeboat Service, capturing footage of the naming ceremonies in 1937 and 1954 as well as the funeral for servicemen following the tragic disaster in 1953. The films serve as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices and bravery of the men who serve as part of the lifeboat crew.
